BATTERY
NOTE
■
When the engine is running, the battery will
be charged by the charging system of
generator.
■
The battery should be charged for a long period
of storage. When
using an
other
charging
system, the charging
current must be
less
than
0.15c
amperes (battery rated capacity).
8.5.1) Replace the battery
a. Unhook the rubber tape.
b. Remove the black cable from battery negative
(-) terminal, and then remove the red cable
from battery po) terminal.
c. Remove the battery from battery tray, and fit a
new one.
d. Reconnect red cable to battery positive (+)
terminal, and reconnect black cable to battery
negative(-) terminal.
e. Re-hook the rubber tape
8.5.2 Replace fuse
If the engine can’t start due to the low
speed of the starting motor, check the
charging fuse or battery voltage. If the
starter motor does not fire
during electric starting, check the starting
fuse.
---Take the fuse holder near the battery.
---hold and twist the two ends of the fuse
holder.
---If the fuse has blown, replace it.
---Reinstall the fuse into the holder.

Starting fuse: 4A, 250V
Charging
fuse: 2A,250V
