8. MAINTENANCE
The
purpose
of
the
maintenance
and
adjustment
schedule
is
to
keep
the
generator
in
the
best
operating
condition
.
WARNING
Stop the engine before performing any
maintenance. If the engine must run, be sure the
area is well ventilated. The exhaust contains
poisonous carbon monoxide gas.

8.1) Change Oil
Drain the oil completely while the engine is still
warm.
8.1.1) Loosen off the screws on the oil maintenance
maintenance cover, and remove the cover
8.1.2) Remove the oil dipstick and the bottom
rubber.
