8. Preparation
Switch the product off and remove the battery pack before assembly, cleaning, maintenance, storage,
adjustments, inserting/removing tools and transportation.
Always wear gloves when handling the product. Risk of burns! Drill bits become very hot during operation.
Change the bits only after they have fully cooled down, or use protective gloves.
a) Inserting tools
The device can clamp tools with a maximum shaft diameter of 13 mm.
1. Rotate the quick-action drill chuck (1) anti-clockwise to open it to the approximate bit diameter (see fig. 1).
2. Insert the tool shaft into the tool holder (4) as far as possible. Rotate the quick-action drill chuck (1) clockwise until
tightened (see fig. 2).

Do not use the power of the drill to loosen or tighten the chuck while grasping the chuck. Risk of friction
burn or hand injury due to rotating chuck!

1. If necessary, attach the supplied belt clip (10) to the housing with the appropriate screw (see fig. 3).
2. The tongue on the belt clip (10) must be inserted into the corresponding groove in the housing.
