8. Operation
Warning! Do not use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer. It may result
in serious personal injury.
Warning!
Make sure the working area is clear of rocks, debris and other foreign objects that could get
caught by the blade.
a) Switching the product on/off
Warning! Risk of injury! The cutting blades
continue to move after switching off.
Do not force the product through dense shrubs/
grass. If the blade slows down, reduce the
speed of movements.
1. Push and hold the lock button (2) on either side of the
handle (Fig. 8).
2. Press the on/off switch (4) and release the
lock button (2) (Fig. 8).
3. Release the on/off switch (4) to stop the product.
b) Shrub trimming
Use the shrub trim blade (9). Refer to section 7
for assembly instructions.
Do not trim too close to dirt, sand or gravel as
this quickly wears down the blade and increases
the risk of ejection of foreign objects e.g. small
stones.
Side cutting
• Adjust the handle angle to -90° or 90°
.
• Begin at the bottom of the shrub and cut upwards at a
slight angle towards the shrub (Fig. 9).
