7. Setup and preparation
a) Charging the battery
The supplied battery pack (3) is partially charged.
Fully charge the battery pack (3) before the first
use.
A new battery or a battery that has not been used
for a longer period, reaches its full capacity until
after approx. 5 charging/discharging cycles.
1. Press both battery compartment’s lock buttons
simultaneously.
2. Pull the battery pack (3) out of the battery
compartment (Fig. 1).
3. Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the battery
pack socket (Fig. 2).
4. Plug the power adapter (10) into an appropriate power
source (Fig. 2). The battery pack’s LED lights up red.

5. When the battery pack (3) is fully charged the LED light turns green.
6. Unplug the power adapter (10) from the power source, and then from the battery pack (3).
7. Push the battery pack (3) back into the battery compartment. Make sure it is locked in place.
The included Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharge. When the battery is empty, the product
switches off automatically. After an automatic switch off, charge the battery immediately.
