Changing the hose length
• You can change the length of the hose using the hose stop ring.
• Carefully loosen the two screws on the hose stop ring (5) using a suitable screwdriver. Pull the hose out of the guide
and slide the hose stop ring to the desired pull-out length.
• Tighten both screws again.
• The hose cannot be extended beyond the position of the hose stop.
Changing the position of the guide arm
• The position of the guide arm (9) can be adjusted in 90° increments. This allows you to position the guide arm
parallel or perpendicular to the wall, floor, or ceiling.
• To adjust the position of the guide arm, use a spanner to loosen the hexagonal nut that is attached to the guide arm/
base plate (2), and then rotate the guide arm to the desired position. Use the spanner to tighten the hexagonal nut
and secure the guide arm in place.
Adjusting the spring force
You can adjust the force with which the hose springs back onto the hose drum. Increasing/decreasing the spring force
changes the amount of force that you need to use when rolling/unrolling the hose.
CAUTION: Always hold the hose drum (6) in place when adjusting the spring force.
• Remove the hose stop ring (5) by carefully loosening the the two screws with a suitable screwdriver.
• Gently pull the hose end over the guide rollers on the hose guide.
Increasing/decreasing the spring force
• Rotate the hose drum anticlockwise (as seen from the hose inlet side) to decrease the spring force.
• Rotate the hose drum clockwise (as seen from the hose inlet side) to increase the spring force.
• Once you have finished adjusting the spring force, pull the hose end through the guide rollers (4) and screw the
hose stop ring (5) back into place. Do not let go of the hose drum until you have completed all of the above steps.
