Speaker placement

Try to get about 1.5 metres of separation of the speakers.  If your speakers are too close, sounds will
blend together and become muddy. If they are too far apart, there will be a gap between the two
halves of the stereo image.

Tow in
You want your front left and right speakers to focus their sound fi eld at your listening position.     An-
gle your speakers slightly towards your seating position. The front silver speaker should ideally be at
ear level when you are seated.  Play around with how far your speakers are from the wall.

Ideally the speakers should be at least 60-90cm away from the nearest wall.   The speakers have
rear-facing bass ports. Positioning a rear bass port too close to the wall will reflect sound waves,
resulting in a distorted bass. Again, play around with the position.  If the speakers must be close to
the wall insert foam plug into each port.
