Connections

002

The correct connection to your amplifi er is extremely important for your listening experience. Ideally
you should use cables of the same type and length for left and right channels.

A rough guide to cable size is:
Cable lengths up to 10 metres, use 1.5mm² (16awg)
Cable lengths up to 22 metres, use 2.5mm² (14awg)

This is only a guide. If you only have 1.5mm² cable, 11 metres long you will not notice much difference.
But we do recommend you use good quality speaker cable.

The red (+) terminal of the amplifi er must be connected to the red (+) terminal of the loudspeak-
er. The black (-) terminal of the amplifi er must be connected to the black (-) terminal of the
loudspeaker. If one loudspeaker is reverse connected it will make a considerable difference to your
listening experience

For the optimal listening experience, the right loudspeaker (as seen from the listening position) must
be connected to the amplifi er output terminals marked “R” or “Right”. The left loudspeaker must be
connected to the amplifi er output terminals marked “L” or “Left”. NOTE: Before connecting cables or
changing any connections, turn off your amplifi er.
NOTE: Make sure that the bare conductors are tightly twisted and gripped by the terminals with no
loose wires which could cause a short circuit and damage your amplifi er.
