16-1. Explanation of Connectors
LINEAR IN-OUT
Circuitry
Explanation
PTT(SEND /RECEIVE switch) from the x-
ceiver is, via HC-1500AT, connected to
SEND(PTT, or STBY) terminal of linear amp.
When the tuner is tuning, or in an error, this
contact is made open, and linear becomes
stand-by state (or barefoot).
(Connector: RCA jack)

Explanation
ICOM Interface of CI-V.
IN and OUT are connected together at
inside of the tuner. The tuner uses data
signal by way of TX/RX buffer.
When the power is turned off, PTT relay
function of IN-OUT is still effective.

Explanation
KENWOOD interface is a serial type interface,
and basic spec is 1 to 1. Internal circuit is as
shown at left, and has a PTT relay function.
When power is turned off, the PTT relay
function is still effective.
