Fuel vent closed (portable fuel tank – optional
equipment).
Open fuel filler cap vent (p. 39).
Fuel hose not primed.
Squeeze priming bulb (p. 50).
Fuel filter or fuel tank filter clogged.
Replace fuel filters (p. 92 and 96).
Bad fuel; outboard motor stored without draining
gasoline, or refueled with bad gasoline.
Drain fuel tank and vapor separator (p. 102).
Refill with fresh gasoline (p. 89).
