HOW TO USE
1. The Filter must be installed before using the ECO Kettle. Follow the
directions in the CARE AND CLEANING section.
. Check that the Valve Button
is in the raised position (Ill. ).
Pull back the Lid Latch and
open the Lid.
3. Fill the Reservoir to the
MAX level marker in
the reservoir (Ill. 3)
4. Close the Lid. The Lid snaps into position when it is closed completely.
5. Place the ECO Kettle on the Power Base making sure it is correctly
engaged on the Power Base.
6. Plug Power Base cord into a 10V AC wall outlet. NOTE: Never plug
Power Base with empty ECO Kettle into the electrical outlet.
You are now ready to decide how much water you wish to boil
— from 1 cup to the full kettle.
• The ‘Valve Closed’ position (just the water in the Boiling Chamber) is used
for 1 – 5 cups of water (00 ml to 1 litre).
• The ‘Valve Open’ position is useful for larger quantities above 1 litre/quart.
HOW TO BOIL IN THE VALVE CLOSED POSITION
(FOR LESS THAN 1 LITRE/QUART)
1. Follow the directions 1 – 6 in the HOW TO USE section.
. To deliver water to the Boiling Chamber, press the Valve Button and watch
the water level rise in the Boiling Chamber window until it reaches the
desired level.
3. Release the Valve Button.
NOTE
: Always ensure there is enough water to reach the ‘Min Fill’ mark
(approximately 1 cup) marked on the Boiling Chamber Window. Never fill
above the ‘Max Boil’, marked on the Boiling Chamber window, as water
could spit out when boiling.
