4. Switch the ECO Kettle on by depressing the On/Off Switch. The Indicator
Light will illuminate in the switch to indicate that the ECO Kettle is in
the boil cycle. Once the water has boiled, the ECO Kettle will switch
Off automatically.
NOTE
:
• The water can be brought back to the boil by depressing the On/Off
switch again. It may be necessary to wait a few seconds before the
switch can be reset.
• The boiling cycle can be stopped at any time by pressing the On/Off
Switch to the ‘Off’ position.
5. If the ECO Kettle is accidentally switched on when the Boiling Chamber
is empty the thermostat will automatically shut off to prevent the ECO
Kettle from overheating. If this situation occurs, unplug the Power Base
and remove the ECO Kettle from the Power Base. Allow the ECO Kettle
to cool before refilling from either the Reservoir or the tap.
HOW TO BOIL IN THE VALVE OPEN POSITION
(FOR MORE THAN 1 LITRE/QUART)
1. Follow the directions in #1 – 6
in the HOW TO USE section.
. Lock the Valve Button in the open position by
rotating the Valve Button in the direction of
the arrow when the Button is depressed (Ill. 4).
3. Switch the ECO Kettle on by depressing the On/Off Switch. The Indicator
Light will illuminate in the Switch to indicate that the ECO Kettle is in
the boil cycle. Once the water has boiled, the ECO Kettle will switch
‘Off’ automatically.
NOTE
:

switch again. It may be necessary to wait a few seconds before the
switch can be reset.
• The boiling cycle can be stopped at any time by pressing the On/Off
Switch to the ‘Off’ position.
