INSTRUMENT MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
The Coefficient of Friction/Peel Tester should be kept clean and dry under normal operating
conditions. Following a few suggestions should add years to the life of the machine.

Keep the platen clean and free of foreign materials (glue, dirt, etc.)
i
DO NOT
clean the instrument’s painted surfaces
with any chemicals or abrasive
cleaners. Just wipe them with a dry, lint-free cloth.
i
Alcohol may be used to clean residues form the test platen.
