58.
Mark the plastic inner guard as shown,
following the below process:
58.1.
Mark a horizontal line 20mm below the
bottom edge of the inner guard mount,
across the flat face of the guard.
58.2.
Mark a
point
on the outer edge of the
plastic inner guard, horizontal with the
noted edge of the inner guard mount.
58.3.
Mark a line from the previusloy marked
point, to the end of the horizontal line
59.
Following the previously marked trim lines,
trim the plastic inner guard to shape.
60.
De-burr the edges & clean the area/surface of
any swarf/debris.
61.
Repeat steps 54 through to 60 for the
opposite side of the vehicle.
62.
Fit the pinch-weld to the trimmed edge of the
bumper (as shown).
63.
Trim off any excess from the ends of the
pinch-weld.
64.
Use super-glue at the ends of the pinch-weld
to ensure that it does not come loose.
65.
Repeat the three previous steps for the
opposite side of the vehicle.
