Intended use

Harness

This cordless hedge trimmer TTT831HDC-Li is designated with a rated voltage

of 18 V

. It is designed only to be used with the battery pack which is listed

in the chapter of “Technical specifications”.

The product is intended for cutting and trimming of hedges, bushes and shrubs

in domestic gardens when assembled with hedge trimmer cutting unit. The

maximum cutting capacity must be observed. Do not cut branches exceeding

the stated maximum capacity.

The product is intended for cutting limbs with a thickness of max. 180mm

when assembled with pruner cutting unit. It must not be used for cutting other

materials, such as plastic, stone, metal or wood that contains foreign objects.

The product may only be used with the guide bar/saw chain combination stated

in these instructions. It is not permitted to use other types or sizes.

Vertical and horizontal cuts can be performed with this product. Longitudinal

sections can only be cut by professionals.

This product should not be used outside of domestic premises e. g. for cutting

firewood in forested areas.

The use of this product in case of rain or humid environment is prohibited. For

safety reasons it is essential to read the entire instruction manual before first

operation and to observe all the instructions therein.

This product is intended for private domestic use only, not for any commercial

trade use. It must not be used for any purposes other than those described.

The harness (30) helps the operator to carry the

product.

1. Place the harness (30) so that it runs over the

left shoulder, crossing the chest and back. The

securing clip (30a) must be located at the right

hip. The quick release (30b) must be in front

(Fig. 20).

2. Adjust the length of the harness (30) so that

the securing clip (30a) is approximately 15 cm

below your waist.

3. Attach the securing clip (30a) to the loop (6)

(Fig. 21).

4. Lock the harness (30) onto the loop (6) by the

securing clip (30a) (Fig. 22).
