Warning: Risk of injury!

In order to avoid instability, always place the larger surface of the
work piece on the table when crosscutting and/or bevel crosscutting.

> 

Start the saw, and wait for the blade to reach full speed. Do not stand directly in

   line with the saw blade’s path. Instead, stand on the side where the cut is being

   made.

> 

Keep  the  work  piece  against  the  parallel  profile  of  the  mitre  gauge  and

   flat against the table. Slowly push the mitre gauge with the work piece through

   the blade.

> 

Do not attempt to pull the work piece backward while the blade is turning. Turn

   the switch OFF, and wait until the blade has come to a complete stop before

   carefully sliding the work piece out.
