1. The overload protector protects the motor from brush jamming and belt breakage. If the
agitator slows down or stops, the overload protector shuts off the brush and the brushroll
status indicator admits red light.
2. To correct the problem: Turn off the vacuum cleaner, remove the obstruction, then turn
on the vacuum cleaner again. The brushroll status indicator will be off.
3. If the problem persists, have the vacuum cleaner serviced by a qualified service agent.
