3.1.6.1 External Connection
External connection will require the user to make a connection from the clock's internal relay to an
external system. The Time Machine Clock alarm closes an internal relay. Relay closure presents 12Vdc
(500mA max) on the Normally Open (NO) output. Position 1, of the relay connector.
The Common and Normally Closed (NC) carry 12Vdc during normal operation. When the alarm fires,
the NC will float, while the NO will follow the Common to 12 Vdc.
This output can be used to drive a small sona-alarm, or a 12Vdc relay module.
