2. Heating power selection
2.1. Set the operating mode selection knob to
position to select low heating power mode.
2.2. Set the operating mode selection knob to
position to select high heating power mode.
3. Temperature setting
3.1. The room temperature can be set in the range from 0 to +40 °C.
3.2. In heating mode, turn the thermostat knob fully clockwise, if the room temperature is lower than the set
temperature, the heating elements will turn on. When the room temperature reaches the desired level, turn
the thermostat knob counterclockwise until the heating elements turn off.
Now the thermostat will maintain the set temperature automatically, by turning on and off the heating
elements, the motor will work.
In an exceptionally cold weather, the appliance may not be able to fully heat the room. In this case, set the
thermostat to a level slightly higher than desired.
4. Overheating protection
4.1. The heat gun is equipped with a device for switching off the heating elements and the device in case of
overheating of the housing.
Overheating of the housing can occur from the following reasons:
- the entrance and exit safety grilles are covered with foreign objects or heavily soiled;
- the heat output of the device exceeds the heat loss of the room in which it operates;
- the electric motor is faulty.
ATTENTION!
Frequent triggering of the emergency shutdown device is not normal mode of operation of the device. In this
case make sure that the device is really defective and contact an authorized service center.
5. Turning off
5.1.Turn the thermostat knob fully counterclockwise and let the device run in ventilation mode for 3 minutes
to cool the heating elements, then set the operating mode selection
knob to
position.
5.2. Turn the thermostat knob counterclockwise to the extreme position and set the operating mode knob to
the position
, the device must be connected to the mains.
The device is equipped with an automatic temperature limiter for cooling the heating elements and. If the
device is connected to the mains, this limiter will automatically cool the heating elements of the device to
30°С. After turn off the device, wait for about 15 minutes and disconnect the device from the mains.
ATTENTION!
In order to increase the life time of the device, it is recommended to follow the above mentioned instructions
for turning off the device. Turning off the device without cooling the heating elements first can cause
overheating and premature failure of the heating elements.
9.
MAINTANANCE
The electric fan heater does not require any consumables for maintenance. In normal use, it does not require
maintenance, but only dusting the fan grilles and monitoring performance. The serviceability of the device is
determined by external inspection, then by turning on and checking the heating of the air flow.
When cleaning the device, do not use abrasive cleaners, as well as products containing alcohol and solvent.
This may damage the coating of the body or the body itself. Use a piece of cloth dampened with water. If the
contamination is heavy, you can use a cloth soaked in soapy water. Before use, the device must be dry.
WARNING:
Before cleaning the device, it must be turned off and disconnected from the power supply.
