Cleaning and Maintenance

 Clean only after unplugging the power plug and allowing the appliance to cool.

 Clean with a soft sponge or cloth.

 Leave to sit in warm water for a 

while to remove any grime that 

may have adhered.

 Clean by using a sponge and a 

little dishwashing liquid diluted 

with warm or cool water, and 

rinse it off with water.

 Wipe off the water with a dry 

cloth to dry the parts 

thoroughly.

(Use a paper towel or similar 

item when wiping the 

undersides of the pan or plate 

for the first time as coating may 

stick to the towel.)

Caution

● Do not use harmful materials 

such as thinners, cleansers, 

bleach, metal scrubbers, 

nylon scrubbers or chemically-

treated wiping cloths.

● Do not use hot water or put in 

a dishwasher or dish dryer.

● Do not forcibly scrub the 

undersides of pans or plates.

● Do not use the abrasive side 

of a heavy-duty scrub sponge. 

Doing so may cause the 

fluoropolymer coating to peel.

Abrasive side

● When cleaning the product 

using a detergent, make sure 

to do so using a synthetic 

household detergent for 

kitchens (for dishes or 

cookware) and rinse it off 

thoroughly.

  *  Any detergents remaining on 

the surface of the product 

may cause degradation or 

discoloration of plastic parts, 

etc.

● Although the undersides of 

the pan, plate and lid may 

become discolored due to 

foods, etc., during cooking, 

this does not affect proper 

functioning of the product.

 Clean the heat shield plate and 

heat sensor using a cloth and 

detergent diluted in warm water. 

Wring the cloth firmly before 

cleaning. Wipe off any remaining 

detergent using a dry cloth.

 Wipe the heater and temperature 

control lever using a dry cloth.

Lid

u

 Clean by using a sponge and a small 

amount of detergent with warm or 

cool water, and rinse it off with water.

 Wipe off the water with a dry 

cloth to dry the parts thoroughly.
