Since damage resulting from weather is not under war-

ranty, anytime a heavy or prolonged rain or blustery

winds are anticipated, it would be advisable to close the

awning. Similarly, if the awning is to be left unattended

for any prolonged length of time, you should close that

awning.

AWNING

The Phaeton will feature a Carefree of Colorado

Wind Sensor patio awning (Figure 14-2) com-

plete with direct response controls. The direct

response controls offer a variety of convenient

operating options for the motorized awning.

During windy conditions, the system will retract

the awning automatically.

and maintenance, please refer to the manufactur-

er’s literature found in the Owner’s Information

Package.
