ATV 125 - Control Functions

THROTTLE LEVER

with Parking Brake

Engine speed is controlled by the position of the throttle lever. Push it

forward to increase engine speed. Release it to decrease engine speed. This

lever is operated by the rider’s thumb.

CHOKE LEVER

When this lever is in the down position, a rich mixture is supplied by the

carburetor for starting the engine when it is cold. When the lever is in the

up position, the mixture supplied by the carburetor is optimum for starting

a warm engine, and for normal operation.
