About MyCam

Still  Image  Capture: 

1. 

Captures  a  still  image.  YThe  im-

age capture is displayed on the bar at the bottom of the 

screen (See A below).

Record/Stop:

Press to start and stop recording. When a 

recording is stopped the recording is saved and the cap-

ture appears at the bottom of the screen (See B below) . 

The screen reverts to display the live video stream.

Device:

 Allows you to select he DV cam (general-UVC) or 

other imaging device.

Options:

Allows you to specify a default folder (which 

can be different for images and videos) and various qual-

ity parameters.

To display an image or play a stored video:

Navigate to the folder and click the image/video

or

 If the image/video icon appears in the bottom bar, simply 

• 

click on the icon. The image/video location is displayed 

and the file will play with your default programme.

Note:

 When  you  record  a  video  the  on  screen  image  may 

move very slowly and the image appear jerky. The recording 

will be perfectly OK however! 
After a short period when the camera has been fully recogn-

ised by the software this jerky motion will cease.
