BEFORE FIRST USE

Before using the appliance for the first time, ensure that ¡t is
switched off and unplugged from the mains power supply.
•
Clean the exterior surface of the appliance with a soft, damp
cloth and dry thoroughly.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
•
NOTE: When using the appliance for the first time, a slight
odour and small amount of smoke may be emitted. This ¡s
normal and will soon subside.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE FILLING THE WATER TANK
•
STEP 1: Ensure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged
from the mains power supply.
•
STEP 2: Check that the steam control is set to the "MIN”
position.
•
STEP 3: Position the appliance on a level surface and remove the
water tank by pulling outwards away from the base unit.
•
STEP 4: Fill a suitable measuring vessel with water and carefully
pour the contents into the water tank, ensuring that it does not
go above the Max Fill level.
•
STEP 5: Insert the water tank back into the base unit until it
clicks into position.
•
NOTE: USE ONLY DISTILLED WATER.
•
WARNING: Do not fill the water tank with hot water.
•
WARNING: Never add descaling, aromatic, alcoholic or detergent
products into the appliance, as this may damage the appliance or
make it unsafe for use.
