ACHILLES TENDON ANKLE
SUPPORT
Properties :
• Elastic knit with specific knitted zones over the malleoli and
reinforced knitted zone at the heel.
• Silicone heelpieces to offload the Achilles tendon.
• Superimposable heelpieces to obtain two heights, depending on
the condition treated.
• Silicone insert at the Achilles tendon to protect the tendon and
absorb shocks.
• Additional heelpieces to balance the other leg.
Indications :
• Prevention and treatment of Achilles tendon injuries:
- Enthesitis.
- Tendonitis.
- Tenosynovitis.
- Bursitis and Haglund’s disease.
• Achillodynia following Achilles tendon surgery.
Contraindication :
Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin.
Fitting instructions :
Two pairs of heelpieces are supplied with the ankle brace. Make
sure you use the same number of heelpieces (1 or 2) on both sides,
following the advice of the physician who prescribed the device.

Slip the ankle brace over the foot, positioning the silicone insert
over the Achilles tendon.
2.
If necessary, superimpose the two heelpieces, placing heelpiece B
(transparent) on top of heelpiece A (translucent blue).
3.
Insert the base heelpiece (A) or the two heelpieces (A and B)
into the shoe of the foot wearing the ankle brace. Repeat the same
operation for the other shoe.

Follow the advice of the professional who prescribed or
supplied the product. Consult your professional if discomfort
occurs.
Store at room temperature, preferably in its original packaging.
For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the product
for another patient.
Washing instructions :
- See product label.
- Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products
(products containing chlorine)
- Squeeze out excess water.
- Dry away from heat sources.
