Winegard ConnecT 2.0+
Beginning model year 2019 the Winegard
®
ConnecT™ 2.0+ is an available option on select
TMC Class A motorhomes. Designed specifically
for the mobile environment, the ConnecT™ 2.0+ is
a long-range, high-performance WiFi extender that
increases the range of existing WiFi hotspots. It uses
state-of-the-art technology to maximize speed and
range from both WiFi and 4G LTE networks to keep
users connected in all but the most remote areas.
When WiFi is not available, the Winegard
®
ConnecT™ 2.0+ utilizes high-gain 4G LTE antennas
to connect to a nationwide data network and provide
connectivity in areas where cell coverage may
be weak or not available. The unit comes with a
pre-installed SIM card and an available dataplan
from the manufacturer (monthly fees required).
However, if you choose to use a dataplan from your
preferred carrier, a SIM card from your 4G LTE
carrier is required (and must be swapped for the
manufacturer’s card) to access 4G LTE network
features. With either choice, you can stay connected.
The ConnecT™ 2.0+ will also accommodate WiFi
calling mode in the absence of cell signal inside
the RV. The unit also includes a TV/FM antenna for
over-the-air (OTA) signal reception.
To become operational, this unit requires set-
up procedures that may be unique to the user.
Therefore, refer to the manufacturer’s set-up and
operational guide for user information, available
from the manufacturer’s website or included with
your TMC Owner’s Packet.
Basic Operation
1. With a WiFi enabled device, connect to the
ConnecT system using the factory installed SSID
and password printed on the unit’s manual. If the
original manual is not available, the password is
printed on a label attached to the inside of the
SIM access panel (located on the base of the
rooftop unit).
2. After connected, open your web browser and
type
10.11.12.1
and press
ENTER
. This will
open the main log-in screen.
3. Type admin in both the Username AND
Password fields. Click the
CONTINUE
button.

4. On the main Status screen, click on either the
4G/LTE or WiFi
option followed by clicking
the SELECT button. If the WiFi option was
selected, next press the
SCAN FOR WIFI
button.
5. A scan will take place and list will display of all of
the access points that can be detected. Notice
the Security Type and Signal Level and select
an available network.
6. Enter the correct password for the chosen
network (if required). When the main status
page shows connected to that newtork, you may
now use the iternet.
7. If selecting the 4G/LTE option be sure you have
purchased data, otherwise you will be unable to
connect to the Nationwide Winegard Network.*
8. On the main Status page, click on the DATA
