7.7.3 IP-Setting
In this menu, you can set up or check the Internet connection. By default
DHCP

ON
. Normally, this
will automatically establish the connection. To test the Internet connection, select
SET
with the

butttons and press
OK
. If this succeeds, a message appears and you can use the Internet functions of
this receiver. If this does not work, check the cable or router or its Internet configuration. Alternatively,
set
DHCP
to
OFF
. Then manually enter
IP Address
,
MASK
,
GATEWAY
and the DNS values with the

-
9
buttons. After entering these values, select
Save
and press
OK
to save.
8.0 TROUBLESHOOTING
There may be various reasons for abnormal operation of the receiver. Please check the receiver
according to the procedures shown below. If the receiver does not work properly after checking it,
please contact your local service line or dealer. Alternatively, you can send a support e-mail via our
website: www.thomsonstb.net. NEVER open or disassemble your receiver. This may cause a dangerous
situation and will void the warranty.
