Troubleshooting
NOTICE!
Possible data transmission errors
For error-free operation make use of dedicated DMX cables and do not
use ordinary microphone cables.
Never connect the DMX input or output to audio devices such as mixers
or amplifiers.
In the following we list a few common problems that may occur during operation.
We give you some suggestions for easy troubleshooting:
Problem
Corrective action
The device does not work, no
light, the fans do not run
Check the power connection and main fuse.
No response to DMX con‐
troller
1. The ‘DMX’ LED should be on. If that is not the
case, check wether the DMX connections are cor‐
rect and cables are in a proper condition.
2. If the ‘DMX’ LED is on but you can see no reac‐
tion, check the address settings and the DMX
polarity.
3. Try to use another DMX controller.
4. Check to see if the DMX cables run near or
alongside to high voltage cables, that may cause
damage or interference to DMX interface circuits.
