Communications Interface
The Data Station requirements are normally met by a PC which fulfills
the following minimum specifications:

Windows™ XP Professional, Windows™ Vista Ultimate or
Windows™ 7 Professional.
•
20 GB hard drive
•
512 MB RAM
•
An USB connection for spectrometer communication
•
Some accessories require a dedicated RS-232 port.
•
A separate Ethernet card is required for networking.
•
A printer port may be required.
A suitable PC is available from your local Thermo Fisher Scientific
organization.
The Thermo Fisher Scientific field service engineer is not responsible for
network and customer-specific setup of the PC.
