Ensure that the heated air is allowed to flow
freely. The minimum distance between the
outlet and any obstacle is 16 ft.

Check the ventilation surface: per
3,500 BTU, a surface area of 4 in
2
is
required.
5.
Check the connection of the room
thermostat.
Do not remove the cap if you do not use a
room thermostat.
To connect the room thermostat, remove the
cap.
6.
Install the flue (4 ft and a rain cover).
7.
Make sure the convector heater is switched
off. See fig. 10.
8.
Check the power supply: refer to the
identification plate.
9.
Connect the convector heater to the socket of
the electric power supply.
The indicator light “Panel live” is on (white).
10. If necessary, press the reset switch.
11. Reset the thermostat (E) by pressing the U
key for two seconds. See fig. 10.

Starting up
To start up the heating:
Open the shuttoff valve (Q). See fig. 5 & 8.
1.
Switch the rotary switch to position 2.
See fig. 10.
The burner starts up with low capaity and
automatically goes to high capacity.
The convector heater will produce heat and
will switch on the fan after a short while.
2.
Switch on the room thermostat.
To start up the ventilation:
1.
Switch the rotary switch to position 1.
See fig. 10. The fan will start up.

During operation

Switching off
To switch off the heating:
1.
Switch the rotary switch to position “0”.
See fig. 10.
The magnet valves will close and stop the
fuel supply.
2.
Remove the electrical plug.
To switch off the ventilation:
1.
Switch the rotary switch to position “0”.
See fig. 10.
2.
Remove the electrical plug.

Transport after use
1.
Switch off the convector heater and wait until
the fan has stopped completely.
2.
Switch off the power supply.
3.
Remove the connection from the room
thermostat and place the cap on the
thermostat connection.
4.
Remove the air hoses.
5.
Remove the flue.
6.
Remove the fuel connection.
Warning
•
Do not start the heater if the fan still
runs. The heater is cooling down.
•
Do not start the heater if there are
any leaks in the fuel supply.
Caution
Do not switch on the convector heater if
there is no fuel.
Hot
Do not touch the flue and exhaust
opening! The flue and exhaust opening
will become hot during operation!!
Caution
After switching off the convector heater,
the fan will continue to run. The fan will
cool down the convector heater to
prevent damage by overheating. The
fan will automatically stop.
Do not remove the plug from the socket
until the fan has stopped completely.
