Afterward, select
all adapters
in the
Show Bindings for
box. In the protocol window,
disable all protocols for the instrument LAN card except the TCP/IP protocol:

As the TCP/IP protocol is used for the instrument LAN, an IP address and a subnet
mask are required for the separate network adapter. The dialog box for entering the IP
address and the subnet mask is opened automatically during installation.
(You can reopen the dialog box later if you need to change the IP address and the subnet
mask. Click Start
→
Settings
→
Control Panel
→
Network
→
Protocols. Right-click the
TCP/IP protocol and click
Properties
on the menu.
