3.1 Chromeleon 7: Pump Setup
Start the Instrument Configuration Program
1. Stop all batches, programs, and data acquisition events on the
Chromeleon Controller that hosts the pump to be updated.
2. If it is not already running, start the Instrument Controller Service.
(Click Start > All Programs > Chromeleon 7 > Services Manager ,
and then click Start Instrument Controller .)
The Chromeleon Services Manager status message should read
“Instrument Controller Service is running idle.”
3. Start the Instrument Configuration program. (Click Start > All
Programs > Chromeleon 7 > Instrument Configuration
Manager .)
4. If necessary, click the plus sign beside the controller name to display
the items underneath.
5. Expand the contents of the instrument that includes the pump to be
updated. (Click the plus sign next to the instrument.)
6. Right-click the pump to be updated and click Properties .
The Properties dialog box for the pump appears. In this example, the
pump is a Dionex ICS-3000 DP.
