TMD IV Holding Registers
The TMD IV uses Modbus holding registers (4xxxx designation) to implement the register set. The message
function code implicitly defines that the query applies to a holding register. The leading 4 (indicating a holding
register) is not sent as part of the register address. Registers are addressed starting at zero: register 1 is
addressed as 0.
Table A-1 describes the holding registers that are useful for day-to-day operations. In the ta
ble, Type “I” is a
signed integer; Type “P” means that data is packed within the bytes. MSB = most significant byte, LSB = least
significant byte.
