Weight and mounting
These instruments may be installed as wall mount or floor mount units.
Shelf, table and cart installations are available as well. No anchoring
hardware is provided by Thermo Fisher Scientific. Use the following
information to work with your structural engineer to obtain appropriate
anchors.

Wall mounting
Each system must be mounted to a structural member capable of
supporting four times the weight of the instrument. See the section entitled
“Lifting or moving” in the “Safety” chapter earlier in this manual for
lifting/moving precautions.
All 6 bolts are required to safely secure the instrument to the wall.
The instrument must be accurately secured within 2 degrees of vertical.
The wall must be perpendicular to the floor within 2 degrees with respect
to horizontal.
