Installation

Installing the LightPipe Flow Cell

Accela UV/Vis Detector Hardware Manual

Thermo Scientific

4. Using a one-piece PEEK fitting, connect the (blue) 0.010 in. ID PEEK tubing (supplied)

to the flow cell outlet port. Tighten the fitting with a 1/4 in. open-end wrench.

• For the 10 mm LightPipe flow cell, see

• For the 50 mm LightPipe flow cell, see

and

5. Connect the other end of the (blue) 0.010 ID PEEK outlet tubing to the solvent waste

container for the LC system.

Mounting the LightPipe Flow Cell



To install the LightPipe flow cell

1. Open the front doors of the detector.

2. Remove the flow cell cover as follows:

a. Using the 1/8 in. ball-end hex screwdriver (supplied), unscrew the flow cell cover

b. Pull the flow cell cover forward and away from the front panel.
