Remove the plug with a screwdriver or other pointed
object.
INSTALLING THE SINK OVERFLOW ON THE WASTEMINATOR II
If there is a sink overflow, where the Wasteminator II is installed, the overflow must also be
connected to the Wasteminator II.
If you are installing an overflow, the plug in the connection to the overflow on the drainpipe
must be removed. The easiest way to do this is to remove the plug before installing the
Wasteminator II on the sink.
NOTE: If the plug is inserted, and an overflow from the sink has not been installed, then water
will leak.
The overflow from the sink is installed on the connection after the Wasteminator II is installed
on the sink.
