3. The LED on the receiver and transceiver will flash rapidly while the connection is being made.
4. The connection is complete when the LEDs have stopped flashing and are permanently lit.
Once a transceiver and receiver have been connected, they will maintain the connection even when the power is disconnected.
ADJUSTING PRO LINK BASIC
Pro Link Basic allows the settings to be changed on both the receiver and transceiver. The settings and how to adjust them will be explained in
the following section.
Setting the receiver
Pro Link Basic has two set points:
•
Set point 1: Relay 1 is drawn.
•
Set point 2: The receiver can be set so that relay 1 remains drawn at the same time as relay 2 is drawn or so that only relay 2 will be used.
The polarity is set on dip switch 1.
NOTE: The output of the valve motor will always open at set point 2 regardless of the setting on the dip switch.
The polarity of the connection to the PCB can be reversed if a connection error occurs when the valve motor is connected to the PCB. The polarity
is reversed on dip switch 2:
Setting the transceiver
Set point 1 is pre-set as level 1 on the hood and cannot be changed.
Set point 2 is pre-set as level 2 but can be changed so the settings are suitable for the ventilation system Pro Link is used for.
The minimum desired load for set point 2 is set as follows:
1.
Switch on the hood to the desired level. NOTE: The hood must remain turned on at the desired level for at least two minutes before setting
the set point.
2. Hold the “Pair” button on the transceiver down for about 10 seconds. The “indicator for connection” LED will flash rapidly when the button
is released.
3. The set point is set when the “indicator for connection” LED stops flashing rapidly.
The set points are saved even when the power is disconnected.
The system is now ready for use and will function according to the settings that have been made.
PRO LINK PREMIUM
Relay 1 and relay 2 will remain drawn on set point 2.
Relay 2 will draw on set point 2.
