Do not clear snow across the face of slopes. Exercise extreme caution when
changing direction on slopes. Do not attempt to clear steep slopes.
Never operate the snow thrower, without wearing tight clothes, gloves, earmuffs.
Boots with non-slip soles with steel jacket is required.
Never operate snow thrower near glass enclosures, automobiles, windows wells,
drop offs etc. without proper adjustment of snow thrower discharge angle. Keep
children and pets away.
Do not overload machine capacity by attempting to clear snow at too fast a rate.
Never operate the machine at high transport speeds on slippery surfaces. Look
behind and use care when reversing the snow thrower.
Never direct discharge at bystanders or allow anyone in front of unit.
Disengage power to auger/impeller when transporting or not in use.
Use only attachments and accessories approved by the manufacturer of snow
thrower (such as wheel weights, counterweights, cabs, etc.).
Only operate the snow thrower in daylight or well-lit areas. Be aware that your
foothold is stable. Keep a firm hold on the handles. Walk, never run.
Gasoline safety
Use extreme care in handling gasoline. Gasoline is extremely flammable and the fumes
are explosive. Serious personal injury can occur, when gasoline is spilled on yourself or
your clothes. Wash your skin and change clothes immediately!
Use only an approved gasoline container.
Extinguish all cigarettes, cigars, pipes and other sources of ignition.
Never fuel your machine indoors.
Let the engine cool down before refilling
Never fill the fuel tank to more than 2.5 cm below bottom of filler in order to
provide space for fuel to expansion.
Replace gasoline cap and tighten securely.
Never store the machine or fuel container inside a building with an open flame,
park or pilot light (e.g. furnace, water heater, space heater, clothes dryer etc.).
Never fill gasoline container indoors or unstable because such as car, truck bed
or trailer. Always place the container on the ground, away from your vehicle
before filling.
Make sure that the mouthpiece from gasoline gun or container is in contact with
the filler neck under refilling. Never use the locking function on gasoline gun,
when fueling.
Maintenance and storage
Check regularly that all bolts and nuts are tighten, this is to ensure that the
equipment is in safe working condition.
Never store the machine with fuel in the tank in buildings with an ignition sources
present such as rooms with hot water and space heaters, clothes dryers. The
engine must be completely cooled before storing indoors.
If the machine unused for an extended period, please refer to the instructions in
this manual. Following the instructions will prolong your machine's life.
Maintain or replace safety and instruction labels, as necessary.
Run machine a few minutes after throwing snow to prevent freeze up of
auger/impeller.
