WARNING

Do NOT turn on device at absolute maximum voltage. TI recommends starting at voltages at or
below 520 V, and then increase the input voltage slowly while monitoring VSW to insure the peak
voltage does not exceed the absolute maximum rating of 650 V.

8.3 Shutdown Procedure

1. Turn off the high voltage power supply then PWM. Wait until the red “HV Enable” LED turns off.
2. Disable the 12-V bias supply.

8.4 Additional Operation Notes

• Fault protection on the LMG34XX-BB-EVM is not latching, therefore PWM will resume if a fault clears and the

LMG34XX-BB- EVM is still operational.
