2. Select ADS1259EVM from the EVM drop-down menu. The ADS1259EVM-PDK plug-in appears in the

left pane, as shown in

Figure 23

.

3. The ADS1259EVM-PDK plug-in window has a status area at the top of the screen. When the plug-in is

first loaded, the plug-in searches for the board. You will see a series of messages in the status area
indicating this action.

4. If you have not yet loaded the operating system drivers, Windows will display the Windows Install New

Driver Wizard sequence (illustrated in

Figure 24

through

Figure 28

). Accept the default settings.

NOTE:

During the driver installation, a message may appear indicating the firmware load has

TIMED OUT. Click OK and continue driver installation. The plug-in attempts to download the
firmware again once the driver installation completes.
