function. Check for alignment of the
moving parts, breakage of parts,
mounting, or any other conditions that
may affect its operation. A guard or
other parts that are damaged should
be properly repaired or replaced.

! Disconnect the machine before

servicing it and before replacing any
parts such as blades, bits, cutters etc.

! Keep guards and slide bars in place

and in working order.

! Always use ear plugs, protection

glasses, protection mask, and safety
gloves.

! Always carry ear protectors/defenders

and eye protection/goggles, face
protection and working gloves.

! Always remove adjusting

keys/spanners etc. Form habit of
checking to ensure that keys and
spanners etc. are removed from the
machine before turning it on.

! Never use the machine under influence

of drugs, alcohol or medication.

! You must never stand on the machine,

injury could occur in case of a fall.

! You must never leave the machine

running unattended. Always turn the
power off. D

electric outlet when adjusting,
changing parts or repairing the

! Ensure that the electric cable is fully

protected and there is no danger of
damage of equipment or materials.

pusher and wedge at all times. Never
touch the moving parts of the machine
when the machine is switched on.

! Do not wear any jewelry or loose

clothing that could be snagged by the
log splitter.

! Do not adjust the Hydraulic pressure. It

will terminate the warranty.

The Machine can only be operated by
one person.

Never try to split wood pieces which
are bigger than the recommended
size

There cannot be nails or other metal
in the log. This can damage the
machine. Only use a 90-degree angle
to split the log.

Remove all branches

Always split the log in the direction of
the veins.

Do not place the log across the splitter
as this can damage the splitter

Use both hands when operating the
machine

The machine must only be operated
by adults, who has read and
understood the manual.

Never split two logs at a time. They
can tilt over and create danger

Never mount a new log on the
machine before it has finished. This
can create a dangerous situation.

When the machine is operating please
keep a safety distance of at least 5
meters.

Never use the machine without
protection gear.

Never force the machine to split
extremely hard wood. With the
cylinder under pressure in more than
5 seconds. Overheated oil under
pressure can damage the machine.
STOP the Machine and try again by
turning the log 90 degrees. If the log
still not split, then it means that the
wood exceeds the machines ability.
You must then reject the log to avoid
damaging the machine.
