10.1 Device Power Supply
The device is not equipped with an internal battery so you must make sure it is
powered properly.
The tool can be powered three ways:

through a diagnostic socket
•
directly by the battery
The
green LED
stays on if the tool is properly supplied.
Do not use external batteries that are not electrically connected to
the vehicle you are working on.
