Please note

If you are going to be away for 

a longer period of time or if the 

subwoofer is not being used, 

switch the mains switch to “Off”.

Information

Please note that the volume 

settings saved on the device will 

be deleted by disconnecting the 

mains plug or switching off the 

mains switch.

Standby mode 

If your PC / DVD player is 

switched off or is not sending 

a program to the amplifier, 

the amplifier in “Auto” mode 

changes to standby after approx. 

20 minutes – the “Standby” LED 

now lights up red. 

When the amplifier receives 

an audio signal again, it will 

switch on automatically - the 

“Standby” LED will go out.

Settings on the display  

The  Motiv  2  subwoofer  enables  you  to  make  all 

equalisation settings directly on the display itself 
or by remote control. The display for the settings 
is located at the top of the subwoofer.

Volume

Use the (+) and (–) buttons in the “Volume” area 
to set each desired level. The adjacent LEDs will 
flicker  red  when  the  levels  are  increased  or  de

-

creased. The LED will light up continuously when 
the  minimum  or  maximum  end  point  has  been 

reached.

Channel 

The “Channel” button switches through the three 
amplifier channels: 

Main = 

total volume 

Sat =

 volume of both satellite speakers

Sub = 

volume of the subwoofer

The  red  LED  marks  the  selected  channel  at  any 

time. The level set is automatically saved by the 
subwoofer. 

Input 

The “Input” button chooses consecutively one of 
the three inputs:  “PC”, “MP3” and “Aux”.

Mute 

Pressing  the  “Mute”  button  once  immediately 
mutes the complete system; if you press it again, 
the system returns to its previous operating sta

-

tus.  When  the  system  has  been  muted,  the  LED 
above the word “Mute” on the front of the sub

-

woofer lights up continuously in red.

Remote control

All functions are also easy to con-
trol  using  the  infrared  remote 

control supplied. The functions of 
the  “Volume”,  “Channel”,  “Input” 
and  “Mute”  buttons  correspond 
1:1 to the direct entry on the dis

-

play.
