2. "TEST" button
This button can be used to Start or stop grounding resistance fest alter you switch the
fester an and set the FuncbonlRange to a resistance Tange. After you press this
button, hie grounding resistance fest begins. Ahout 30 seconds later, the test
automatically stups. If you want to stop the fest ahead of time, just press this button
again.
3. "LOCK" key (for continuous grounding resistance test)
After you press this key when the grounding resistance fast is on, "LOCK" appears on
the display, and the grounding resistance test will last until you press TEST buttan
again.
4. "HOLD"
key
To hold the present reading, just press this key and " appears as an indication. To exit
Data Hold mode, press this key again.
5. "*"key
Press this key to enable the backlight function. About 15 seconds later, the backlight
will go off automatically

Function / Range switch
This switch can be used to tum onloff the tester as well as to select desired Tange or
function.
7. LED
After you press the "TEST" Button with the function/range switch in a resistance
range, the LED lights to indicate that the grounding resistance test circuit is working.
If the LED gives green light, it means that the tester is working normally. If the LED
gives red light, it means the resistance between "C" terminal and "E" terminal is out of
the permitted range.

"C" terminal
lt is a current terminal for grounding resistance test. lt is to be connected to the
auxiliary earth bar which is farther away from the earth electrode to be tested in
normal grounding resistance fest (refer to Figure 2 ).
9. "P"
terminal
lt is a voltage terminal for grounding resistance fest, lt is to be connected to the
auxiliary earth bar which is nearer to the earth electrode to be tested in normal
grounding resistance fest. (refer to Figure 2 )
10. "E"
terminal
In grounding voltage test, it is a common terminal.
In grounding resistance fest, it is to be connected ta the earth electrode to be tested,
