Basis measurements
DC voltage measurement
Move the rotary switch to
V
. Connect the input connections and test leads as shown here and connect the test leads
to the voltage source / consumer.
AC measurement
Move the rotary switch to V. Connect the input connections and test leads as shown here and connect the test leads
to the voltage source / consumer.
Resistance and continuity measurement
To avoid any damage to the test instrument or the system to be tested, disconnect the circuit power supply and dis-
charge all the high-voltage capacitors before performing a continuity test.
Move the rotary switch to
Ω
. Connect the test leads as shown. A signal will sound during the continuity test with
a measured resistance of < 3 Ω.
