TV 327
Target laser
With the laser switched on, the laser ring points to the approximate centre of
the measurement area. This makes it easier to make exact measurements.
With the laser switched on, to activate the laser., press the "measuring
button“ (
3
) and button (
8
). The symbol appears on the LCD display. The
laser beam now points to the approximate centre of the measurement area.
To deactivate, press the "measuring button" and the button "Laser", the laser
symbol goes off.
Note:
This function does not exist in the "
REC
“ mode.
WARNING
Never point the laser beam towards the eyes directly or
indirectly, via reflective surfaces. Laser radiation can cause
irreparable damage to the eyes. The laser beam must be
deactivated when measuring close to people.
Size of measurement area – distance to Spot Ration (D/S)
In order to attain more accurate measurement results, the measurement
object must be greater than the measurement area of the infrared
thermometer. The temperature determined is the average temperature of the
area measured. The smaller the measurement object, the shorter the
distance must be to the infrared thermometer. The ratio distance to the size
of the measurement area 30:1 and can be taken from the following diagram.
For accurate measurements, the measurement object should be a
minimum of double so large as the measurement surface!
