Additional instructions when using the
potato masher attachment
• This potato masher has been designed to
mash food. It is intended to be hand held and
to be used in pots, pans or the like, after they
have been removed from a cooking surface.
It should not be used for any other purpose.
• The potato masher is intended to mash food
that has not been thoroughly cooked to a
soft consistency. Never attempt to mash hard
food, uncooked or part-cooked food.
• Although the blade is plastic, do not place
hands or fingers in the blade area when the
power is connected to the appliance.
• Never touch the blade when it is spinning.
• Keep hair and loose clothing away from
the masher to avoid any chance of them
becoming entangled in the blade.
• Do not use in a pot still on the cooktop, as
the power cord may accidentally become
damaged by heat.
• Never run the appliance for more than 1
minute continuously with the potato masher
attachment allowing 1 minute to cool before
further use.
