  CONNECTING POWER

Check that the mains voltage marked on the rating 

• 

plate on the base of the unit is the same as the 
voltage in your area.
Plug the AC power cord into the AC inlet.

• 

Plug the mains plug into the wall socket and switch 

• 

the mains  power on. 

The display will light, flashing --:-- until the clock is set.

  SETTING THE CLOCK

Check that the unit is set to Standby before setting the 
clock.

Press and

hold

 the 

TIME/SCAN

 button.

The display will flash 24H (24 hour display).

Press the 

•

 button repeatedly to choose 24 hour 

or 12H (12 hour) clock display.
Press the 

• 

TIME/SCAN

 button to confirm.

The time will be displayed, the hour digits will flash.

Press  the

  or

  button  repeatedly  to  set  the 

hour digits to the correct time.
Press the 

• 

TIME/SCAN

 button to confirm.

The time will be displayed, the minutes digits will flash.

minute digits to the correct time.
Press the

 button to confirm.

Your time settings will be saved and the time displayed.

  POWER CONTROL

To switch the unit on:

The unit will switch on.

To switch the unit off:

The unit will switch off and the time will be displayed.

NOTE: When  the  unit  is  operational,  the  display  can 
be switched to display the time by pressing the 

TIME/

SCAN

 button briefly.

Environmental protection:

The unit will automatically turn off if left in standby 
mode for more than 15 minutes. If you disconnect the 
power  from  the  unit  during  this  period  you  need  to 
wait for 15 seconds before re-connecting the unit to 
the power.

  ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

To increase the volume: 

Turn the

clockwise. 

To decrease the volume:

 control knob on the top panel 

anti-clockwise.

When the volume level is changed, the volume level 
is  displayed  in  the  range  ‘U00’  (minimum)  to  ‘U30’ 
(maximum).

one of the functions available.

An indicator is displayed to show the function selected.
