  PLAYING A CD

Selecting CD operation:

Press  the 

• 

FUNCTION

  button  repeatedly  until  CD 

mode is selected.

Loading a disc:

Press the ‘OPEN/CLOSE’ area on the CD door to open 

• 

the door.
Holding the disc by the edges, place the disc on the 

• 

turntable in the centre of the CD loading bay with 
the label uppermost. Press the centre of the disc 
into place on the turntable with a click.
Close the CD door and lock it shut by pressing the 

• 

‘OPEN/CLOSE’ area.

The unit will read the CD, display the total number of 
tracks on the disc, then start playing from the start of 
the disc.

Removing a disc:

Ensure that the disc is stopped. 

• 

Press the ‘OPEN/CLOSE’ area on the CD door to open 

• 

the door.
Holding the disc by the edges, lift the disc off the 

• 

turntable and place it back in the case.
Close the CD door and lock it shut by pressing the 

• 

‘OPEN/CLOSE’ area.

Play/Pause:

Press the 

• 

/,

 button at any time to switch between 

Play and Pause modes.

The  play  indicator  will  appear  on  the  display  when 
playing. This display will flash during pause.

Stopping CD play:

Press the

 button while the CD is playing.

The CD will stop. 

Selecting tracks:

Press  the

  or

  button  to  select  the  next  or 

previous track. 

NOTE:- When  pressing 

{

  while  playing  a  track,  the 

first press will replay the current track.

Fast search:

Press and

hold

  button to fast search 

forward or backward through a track.

The track will search at high speed.

Repeat play:

Press  the

REPEAT

  button  to  step  through  the 

available  repeat  modes  - ‘Repeat’, ‘Repeat  all’  or 
‘Repeat off’.

The mode selected will be shown on the display.

Selecting ‘Repeat’ will continuously repeat the current 
track. 

Selecting  ‘Repeat  all’  will  repeat  the  entire  disc 
continuously.

NOTE: If play is stopped, repeat modes are cleared.
