5 – CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Any cleaning and maintenance operation must be performed when the
appliance is switched off and the plug disconnected from the socket outlet.
DUST COLLECTING CONTAINER (21) CLEANING
• Release the hose (1) by turning the coupling (4) counter-clockwise.
• Remove the dust collecting container (21) from the appliance body (10)
by pulling the release lever (25) (Fig. 4).
• Empty the dust accumulated in the container (21), opening the container
from the bottom and holding down the button (22) (Fig. 5).
DUST COLLECTING CONTAINER (21) WASHING
• After having emptied the dust from the container (21), remove the
cyclonic filter (23), remove the HEPA filters (23) and sponge (26).
• Wash the dust filter container with water, let it dry completely, replace the
filters and reposition it in its seat (11).
For hygienic reasons and to improve the vacuuming, clean the dust collecting
container (21) frequently.
FILTERS (19), (23), (24) AND (26) CLEANING/REPLACEMENT
Rear filter
• Remove the grid (20) on the rear of the appliance by pressing the
appropriate upper tab.
• Remove the rear filter (19) from its seat.
• Wash the filter in warm water and let it dry completely before putting it
back into place.
• Reposition the grid (20) on the appliance body by inserting the bottom
first and then attaching the top.
Dust container filters
• After opening the base of dust bin container (Fig.5) by pressing the
appropriate button (22), remove the cyclonic filter (23).
• To remove the cyclonic filter (23), turn it counter-clockwise to release the
clutch which will be underlined by a "click", then lift it to remove it (Fig. 6-7).
• Reassemble the cyclonic filter in reverse steps.
• Place the cyclonic filter (23) inside the container (21), then close the base
